Delaware River Towns Restaurant Week Date Night
Francisco's on the River
Delaware River Towns Restaurant Week is a 5-day celebration of Delaware River Towns’ best eateries. Participating restaurants offer a $35.00 prix fixe fine-dining menu or a $25.00 prix fixe casual-dining menu. My husband and I have attended restaurant week many times in NYC so when we found out about this event in New Jersey and PA a few years ago we fell in love! Now we always try to make it out to at least one of these lovely restaurants along the delaware.
A few months ago my husband purchased his first motorcycle, ever since then he has insisted we ride every single warm day off we've had. I'm not complaining :) We enjoy riding up and down the delaware river from Trenton to Frenchtown along NJ RT29 and then back down along PA RT32 is probably our favorite route so far. We pass Francisco's on the River each time and always wonder how the food is, they open at 5pm and since we are always riding in the afternoon warmth we never had the chance to stop in. So when I noticed Francisco's was participating in restaurant week our choice was easy! The food was amazing of course, we enjoyed our meal in front of the fireplace while watching the snowfall..it was the perfect date.
