Sonia & James
These two were so much fun to work with! They chose the ever beautiful town of Lambertville as their location because that’s where their story began. They met working as Corrections Officers, and after working with them for about 15 minutes I was very surprised to hear it wasn't quite love at first sight for them. I just couldn't imagine this as these two fit so perfectly together and have such a profound connection it was nothing short of a thrill to capture them. However they explained to me that meeting through work they didn't actually like each other at all. It wasn't until they hung out with a group outside of work that they got to see that personal side of each other and hit it off. Needless to say that after that they became inseparable and that deep connection I was so in love with formed.
We began our session early on a Sunday morning on the Lambertville-New Hope bridge. That sweet October fog along the river was perfection! As the fog dissipated we took a walk down the canal and found some hidden fall gems to incorporate into their shots before ending up at York Streets iconic Cannon Ball Park (now referred to as Mary E. Sheridan Park) to take some shots outside the old jail house. As we finished up our session and headed back to the bridge the quiet little town in its early morning hours allowed us to play in the middle of the street and capture a few shots with the trees bursting with signs of Autumn.
Take a look at some of my favorite shots from their session and enjoy!
